The breakfast was great—mostly freshly prepared—and it was well worth the short wait. The room had an unpleasant smell that was not noticeable when the window was open, but otherwise it was not great.

“Allumez la chaudière”

We want to thank the warm welcome, the friendliness, the kindness, and the professionalism of the two ladies at the reception. Thank you both. The hotel itself is wonderful. The view, the spacious pool—though it was not heated and was outdoors in late September—was impressive. At first we had a beautiful, quiet room with a view of the pool. Unfortunately, our joy was short-lived. The flush didn't work, and there was no hot water at the tap. We were moved to a room overlooking the lake above the restaurant. No hot water there either, neither in the shower nor at the sink, so it was impossible to take a shower before we left the next morning. On Thursday evening from 20:30, there was music. It was impossible to sleep because of a singer who didn't sing but shouted with his electric guitar, mic, and speakers at maximum volume below our room. It was a nightmare night. It's a pity because the establishment is very poorly managed. No hot water for washing. The music was too loud, preventing us from sleeping (nighttime disturbance).

The restaurant staff were lovely and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. However, the Wi‑Fi was very limited, there was no hot water, and the walls were thin enough that you could hear conversations from neighboring rooms. The reception staff were not very friendly or helpful, and we were not allowed to swim in the pool, which was one of the reasons I booked this hotel.

The décor was tasteful, and there was direct access from the room to the pool.
