“Do not recommend, wrongly accused of theft!”

It had good parking. Upon arriving there were several things broken and in need of attention, the latch on the gate was broken, decking slats were loose and dangerous, handles falling off kitchen cupboards and drawers, the bathroom blind was not attached and kept falling off, I could go on! It was also not very clean, the floors were unswept, things were dirty. The place is definitely in need of a good clean and some maintenance. The main issue though was the fact that a few hours after we had left we received messages and calls accusing us of stealing the TV and that they would be reporting this to the police. After letting the owner know we had before and after photos (if you do stay here, please make sure you document everything!) he then let us know the cleaner had taken it off the wall and put it under the bed!! The whole thing was not a nice experience, and I definitely would not recommend

“Not very clean and an uncomfortable exit”

The caravan was fully equipped and spacious, situated in a pleasant part of the site right next to the car park. The owners were friendly and responsive, making communication smooth and handling any concerns efficiently. I didn’t bring up the cleaning issues, but I’m sure they would have tried to fix them. The blinds were poor and let light in from outside, so be careful when changing clothes. The balcony near the living‑room was a bit loose and some planks creaked. Cleanliness was a major problem: there was dry nasal mucus and boogers all over the sofa arm near the second outside door, a large dark wet stain on the sofa, dried ketchup on the twin bedroom door, a lot of dust and fur, and the floors were extremely dirty. The mattress had hair, crumbs, stains and marks. The elderly cleaning lady, who seemed nice, kept coming around 3–4 times a day. She arrived the night before checkout and told us she’d come at 7:30 am the next morning, even though we said we wouldn’t leave until about 10 am. She came at 8:25 am trying to get into the caravan, and when we told her again we weren’t ready, she returned around 9:45–9:50 am, walked straight past us while still bagging up belongings, sent the kids on a last‑minute toilet trip, and then edged us out. I bought plenty of cleaning supplies, mopped, scrubbed the caravan on arrival and before leaving. The staff would have felt more comfortable if the lady hadn’t tried to evict us so early; we left without either child using the toilet because the cleaning lady let herself in, left belongings, and told us to take our bags.

“Overall good nice caravan and size and good location just a bit issue with cleaning”

The location and size were good, but the cleaning could have been up to a better standard.

The place was incredibly comfortable and close to a park for the kids, arcades, restaurants, and shops.

The caravan was lovely, well maintained, and very clean. The owners were thoughtful, offering a nicely equipped van, board games, console games, DVDs, coffee, sugar, dog treats—everything for comfort, making it feel like home.
