The Chambiges Elysées, a 19th-century style hotel in Paris' chic 8th district, offers elegant guest rooms overlooking a flowery interior patio. Soundproofed rooms feature refined decor, cable TV, minibar, and electric kettle. A buffet breakfast is served, with free WiFi throughout. Located 500m from Champs Elysées Avenue and a 14-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, with nearby public parking.

The décor, the room, and the staff give the place a wonderful charm. The area around Plaza Athénée, on the same block but on the avenue behind, turns Chambiges into a super‑car parking lot with tuxedoed drivers waiting for millionaires, which is annoying, and the street is filled with nouveau riche and tourists in super‑cars and celebrities. Rue Marbeuf, a block away, offers services and restaurants but has a strange vibe; however, Chez André at the corner is worth a visit. In short, if Chambiges were in the 16th, it would be perfect for me. Even so, I’d stay there again without hesitation.

The location, the staff’s attitude, and the rooms’ Parisian feel are all excellent. The pillows are a bit hard and the dryer barely worked.
