“The White hotel from Hell”

I found the spot decent—just a 10‑minute stroll to the mall, with food stalls, restaurants, and grocery stores scattered around, and the air conditioning actually worked. But the hotel itself was a nightmare: only one front‑desk person was reachable, the bed sheets had holes, the shower curtain was moldy, the bathtub wasn’t properly attached so water leaked down the wall onto the floor, the floorboards were incomplete, and the walls had holes. There was only one functioning electrical outlet, the TV was dead, the towels had a funky odor, and a cigarette smell lingered on every floor. When I asked about a massage spot, the staff directed me to a “spa” behind the hotel that charged 300,000 (about $15.50 CAD). I went, a pretty girl asked me to lie down, and after 15 minutes of rubbing and pinching she asked, “anh có nhu cầu sinh lý không” (“Do you have sexual needs?”). I said no and left, trying to find a proper massage. The hotel staff explained that any massage here would ask if you want extra services. Only on the last day did I realize that every floor of the hotel is actually connected to that same massage place… Thank God it was my last day.
