The location was indeed a stone’s throw from the beach and close to the main bars and restaurants, but everything else fell short: the room was dirty, the walls were moldy, the windows had no glass, and the mattress was so poor that I developed a backache after the second night. The breakfast was even worse than the room; I tried it the first day and then left for the rest of my stay. It felt like all the revenue stays in the cash register with no investment in improving the property or guest comfort. The staff were rarely present, and when I needed help they were not helpful at all.

Everything was great ! It’s a very cozy and peaceful accommodation, 2 minutes walk from the beach. Friendly staff and good breakfast (different everyday). The rooms were not very soundproof and we unfortunately had loud neighbors

We had a pleasant stay at Mlango Paje House. The property was clean, cozy, and the team was very friendly and warm. The terrace was especially nice – we spent most of our time there. The rooms were a bit small and the small windows let in little daylight, making it somewhat dark. In the evenings the terrace was also full of mosquitoes. Despite these minor issues, we felt comfortable and enjoyed our time in Paje.
