“Zimmer mit Matterhorn Blick”

Everything was clean and the room layout was good; the room was very nice with a Matterhorn view and a balcony. The helicopter landing strip is right nearby, so you hear several flights early in the morning.

“Zweckmässig gut”

The balcony was large, the bathroom was nice, the furnishings were practical, and it was clean. It's a shame that more hotels are moving to self‑check‑in like this one; there's no human contact anymore – a regrettable development!

“I would come back if these issues are fixed”

The prices for Zermatt were great, the place was fairly clean and modern, and check‑in was easy even though no staff were present. The window in our room had a huge gap, letting all outside noise in; heavy trucks were very loud from 5:30 am. A simple fix would be better sound isolation on the window. The shower was open, and despite having a curtain, the floor was poorly designed so water would splash everywhere in the room. An easy fix would be to build a small wall to contain the water in the shower corner.

Check‑in was easy and convenient. The room was clean, new, and comfortable, with hot water and a microwave, making the stay very convenient and pleasant. The balcony doesn’t feel very secure; it looks like someone from the neighboring room could easily climb over to our balcony if they wanted to, which makes me feel unsafe. The location is quite far and requires a fair amount of walking.
