Sausage Tree Safari Camp

Sausage Tree Safari Camp is a very special place — beautiful, intimate and wonderfully immersed in the African bush. A very special mention to our fabulous guides, Polite and Temba, who made every game drive fun, engaging and so much more than simply looking for animals. Their knowledge, enthusiasm and genuine desire to help us appreciate the bush made the experience truly special. James, the co-owner, was a warm and gracious host, adding a wonderful personal touch to our stay and making us feel genuinely welcome. We absolutely loved our time at Sausage Tree. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to return!

“Fantastisch”

Quiet, quality, and excellent game drives. The pool water was ice‑cold – that’s the only downside. Nothing else to mention.

Meals were perfect. The game drives didn’t disappoint, and the cocktails were great. We could have been situated in a better bedroom with sliding doors instead of the zipper closure.

The hotel staff is fantastic. Especially the drivers and “trackers” who do the safari routes to find animals. They’re incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife. The meals were excellent. The tents are equipped with a masonry structure. They’re very comfortable, with air conditioning and a small balcony. The meals were excellent.
