“Не хотят и не могут”
No positives. The hotel never let me check in. I called ahead, told them I’d arrive at 4:00 am, and they confirmed the time. When I got there, the front desk was empty; they pointed to a door where a “sleeping” administrator supposedly was and knocked, waking the whole hostel. I tried the phone on the door – no answer. I called the same number I’d used for the late check‑in – still no response. I was left in the rain on a dark night in Tbilisi, with only a hot greeting from the night shift.
A quiet, peaceful place; the administrator is helpful and will advise you if you run into any issues.
“Ladies, stay away from this hotel—unless you’re older than the owner’s mother.”
The owner of this place would often approach female guests for no apparent reason, asking things like, “Are you enjoying your stay?” and “There are a few things I need to remind you to be careful about.” During these conversations, he would stare at different parts of the women’s bodies and act smug about it. Several of us women who were staying there at the same time noticed this behavior very clearly. We all felt extremely uncomfortable, offended, and disrespected
The price‑to‑quality ratio is incredible, and there are plenty of facilities.
A very responsible administrator who made sure everything stayed clean and quiet – everything was great.
