I didn’t like the discrepancy between what was advertised and what was actually provided in the apartment. The listing stated: refrigerator, TV, hairdryer, wardrobe or closet. None of these were present. Items not mentioned in the description but shown in the photos – a chair and a microwave – were also missing. The only places to sit are the bed or the toilet. The apartment is part of a two‑room flat where all room and bathroom doors have transparent glass with semi‑transparent fabric, so there is no privacy – nothing to hide from neighbors! All doors have very basic interior locks, meaning any door can be opened with any key. There are no safes, so be prepared to carry anything valuable with you. Sound insulation is very poor – you can hear every word from neighbors and every step on the shared staircase. There is not a single hook on the bathroom walls. In the shower, there is nowhere to put shampoo or soap – you have to place them on the shower tray and crouch down every time to pick them up. If the widest part of your body – shoulders, hips, or belly – exceeds 100 cm, the right‑side apartment is not suitable, as you won’t fit comfortably in the shower. Black mold under the silicone seal between the sink and the wall was quite noticeable while washing. Make sure to bring an adapter for Italian‑type power sockets – don’t make my mistake :) There were no light bulbs in the bedside lamps. The ceiling light in the room is controlled by a switch in the common corridor. If you decide to stay there, I would suggest using only the bathroom light and adjusting the room lighting by opening or closing the bathroom door. Alternatively, bring your own light bulbs for the bedside lamps (E14 base).

I arrived and never got the room I paid for; check‑in was only possible late afternoon, contrary to the booking rules, and the furnishings and services I had purchased were missing. There was no fridge, no wardrobe, and to turn the lights on or off I had to leave the room. The bathroom was outside the room, unlike what I had bought, and the boiler didn’t work on the first day so we had to take a cold shower. The next morning I was woken up to ask me to open the door for a supposed technician checking the boiler, which felt like an unfair duty for the guest; I’d expect the owner to come instead of disturbing my sleep. The bathroom mirror had no light, the furniture was low quality, and the bathroom wasn’t newly renovated. I feel I paid for services I never received and want a refund from the platform, holding the host accountable for allowing such conditions.

I never got to stay in the property I booked in December 2025 and paid for in January 2026 at Via Lattanzio Porta Victoria. A few hours before my stay began on 9 February 2026, the provider told me that due to damage they had to move me to a shared apartment with another guest at via Oglio 1 Brenta, which had none of the features of the original room I’d paid for—no private bathroom, no shared space, no balcony view of the garden, and generally poorer amenities. I first asked to be moved to another room that matched my preferences, but the answer was no. I then requested compensation for the inconvenience, but was again told it wasn’t possible. This service violates professional standards, and I believe my stay should be fully refunded. Best regards, Bouchra.
