“Un albergo discreto e accogliente”
I didn’t have breakfast, but the location is excellent and the bed is very comfortable. The power outlets need fixing, and the shower is a bit old and dangerous.
“Posto è struttura in una posizione invidiabile tutte le camere vista Mare con balconi”
The location and the recently renovated facilities were great. The only thing that could be improved is the thoroughness of the cleaning, although it still earns two stars.
The proximity to the sea was a clear advantage, but the organization was poor.
“Peccato, poteva essere un sogno MA non lo è stato affatto!”
The only thing that stood out was the location, but the third floor had no elevator or lift, something we weren’t warned about; it was sweltering under the roof and there was no remote to control the non‑centralised air‑conditioning, so a stranger showed up at my door while I was in the shower to tell me the power was out and I needed a remote, which the receptionist finally brought but then took away after setting the temperature – absurd, because I had to get up at night to switch it off with a wall plug if it got too cold or on again if it got too hot. Paying the price of much better historic seaside resorts like Miramare, which even have private beaches and pools, and not getting a single AC remote, a lift for luggage (carrying bags up to the third floor was exhausting with no staff to help), only one tiny bathroom hook and a bidet holder for towels – we had to leave the towels on the nightstands – was unacceptable. The staff were virtually invisible; the only person we met was a young woman at check‑in who handed us the keys and looked horrified when I struggled to carry my bags to the third floor, then showed us how to close the windows and turn on the notoriously noisy air‑conditioner with a key. Apart from her, we only saw cleaning ladies entering rooms with keys while we were still sleeping, apparently without any way to know whether we had left the room.
“Posto eccellente e confortevole”
Being forced to check in at 15:00 was absurd.
