We stayed at Jardin de la Matz and it was absolutely gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful, charming vibe that made us feel instantly relaxed. The real star was dinner at the on‑site restaurant, where we both, as vegetarians, were quickly offered a vegetarian option even though the set menu had a meat choice; the food was delicious and clearly prepared with care. Beautiful setting, amazing food, and genuinely lovely hospitality—definitely coming back!

We appreciated Marie calling to confirm our arrival and offer help. We were disappointed that we couldn’t dine at the farm that evening and that Marie gave little assistance in finding another place; the information was vague. The breakfast was magnificent. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Audrey and her partner were very kind.

The place is absolutely beautiful. The only caveat is that the family suite actually consists of two separate rooms linked by stairs down a short corridor; there’s no door enclosing both rooms, so we chose to share a room with each of our two kids. I might have missed this detail on the website, but overall it was a lovely stay.

The atmosphere is timeless in the Breton countryside. The old building is very beautiful, the parking is convenient, and the restaurant dishes (which need to be booked in advance because they’re always full) are made with local products. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is that breakfast is a bit sparse and served quite late (around 8:45 each morning), there’s not much choice of pastries (just one cake and a few jams), only an American coffee pot without espresso, and the toilet is outside the room.

It’s a nice farm in the countryside where you can use their facilities to dine in. The stay was lovely. The bath was a bit of a challenge and not very comfortable.
