The family that owns the place were very friendly and lovely. The room was separate from the family, very private, and came with a kitchenette. Having a kettle was a real bonus so I didn’t have to filter water or buy bottled water. Overall the room was clean, comfortable, had hot water and free Wi‑Fi. There was a huge crack on the wall at the corner of the room, which made me a little worried about the building’s safety, but nothing actually happened during my stay. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable, but for the price of the room there’s not much to complain about.

Everything was perfect, just two steps from the village of Ranomafana, clean accommodation, comfortable, with everything needed to cook, dry laundry outside, very welcoming staff. No better quality‑price elsewhere!

“Posizione comodissima, host super gentile e alloggio delizioso!”

The host was super helpful, even giving us a hair dryer after a whole day in the forest under 18 °C rain! We really appreciated it, and the apartment was nice and had everything. I would definitely recommend it. You can walk to the village and the local market with cute restaurants, or nearby hotel restaurants.

A small house at the village entrance. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, and there was also a mini‑kitchen with gas stove and electric kettle. Minerva was very kind and welcoming, and she helped me contact a guide. There’s a dog and some cats that keep me company. The only top thing would have been to offer breakfast there, but they don’t serve meals. Still, there are a couple of cheap restaurants a few steps away.
