There are no real problems. The value for money was exceptional. It was clean neat and the garden was lovely. I had no problem sleeping. Having a bar and restaurant on hand was We awoke at six and left shortly after. Really, nothing much. I dislike the Booking. com 'code' admission intensely and do not to pretend to understand it. I had to have help in locating both rooms from someone who understood the system (the previous night I had booked accomodation in Brighton and was kept waiting a full hour on a premium line for the code, growing cold in the night). Not only is it impenetrable, it is 'cold'. Being welcomed by a senior bar staffer is both warm and human

“Great stay and great hosts”

Great location, easy access, and a nice atmosphere. The bathroom could be a bit nicer, but otherwise it was fine.

“Wouldn’t stay here again”

Parking was good, and the bar staff were friendly once they realized we had a room booked. However, there was no secondary glazing, the toilet and shower were very noisy, the bed was uncomfortable and creaky, and the owners were very inhospitable, ruining the experience from the start.

The room was comfy and spotless, and the view over the garden was nice. The entry system worked smoothly, and even though a busy transport route runs nearby, the room stayed quiet. I could hear some background music from a pub—probably the bass—and when I tried to read the departure instructions, the phone signal was down, so I missed the email from The Three Horseshoes; signal is often poor in this part of the village.
