The breakfast was simply wonderful!

We’ve stayed here many times before and were always satisfied, but this time we were disappointed. The outdoor pool, despite earlier assurances, was not working. In the spa pool, stones fall from the walls and the stairs are badly maintained, creating a safety hazard. In the room, the shower leaks and the toilet is wobbly. Breakfast became very poor—no buffet, only what you order, and no fruits or desserts. The staff explained that they serve guests only when there are at least 15 people in the hotel, so this should be stated in the description: sorry, we can serve you properly only with enough guests. With this approach, I fear the number of guests will drop soon. On the bright side, the reception staff were polite and the mattress was very comfortable, so I slept well.

The location is convenient. We were there on a weekend when two weddings were happening, so we might have waited a bit for our food at the restaurant, and the spa was always full of large groups. It might have been different on weekdays.

The grounds are nice and well‑kept. In some rooms, like ours, the entrance door is actually an interior glass door – it isn’t clear and offers no real protection. At night there’s no administrator on site, so any unexpected issue has to be handled on your own. During our stay a nighttime shelling occurred, the hotel lost power, the generator was shut off and both internet and Wi‑Fi stopped working, making it impossible to assess the situation. Without electricity there was no water supply, so even basic things like using the toilet or washing hands were impossible. When we tried calling the reception to find out about the lights, nobody answered. Service overall was slow – you wait a long time for dishes in the restaurant by default, prices are comparable to pricey Kyiv eateries, yet you might get a Caesar dressed in mayo or an egg shell in your omelette as a norm. If the hotel hosts a banquet, like ours did, the restaurant will simply tell you they can’t serve you because of it. You can order food to the pool, but on several occasions our orders were sent back; they took about an hour to prepare ours and we had to return part of it as well.

The pool was warm, spacious, and deep enough to get a good shower off.
