Located in the picturesque Wangen district of Stuttgart, Hotel Ochsen Stuttgart, Wangen, is a 4-star family-run hotel dating from 1785. This historic hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and suites in a classic style, featuring free wireless internet, large Italian granite and marble bathrooms, and some suites with a hot tub. It's close to the Mercedes-Benz factory and 10 km from Stuttgart Airport.

The hotel’s restaurant was excellent. The room had a balcony overlooking a lovely garden, and overall the room was quite nice. I didn’t like that the room was separated from the main hotel by an alley behind it.

The room was very spacious and the shower was nice. The beds were good. Breakfast was fine with enough options. The coffee machine was broken, but an alternative pot of coffee was provided. Parking was convenient. Getting there was okay, though it took a bit of time driving through the city. The neighborhood was quiet. Reserving worked with American Express, but checking out didn’t. The surroundings are very calm. For a good restaurant you have to go further away.

The service overall. We first got a loft room with separate beds under the roof windows, stacked one after another. We upgraded for a small extra fee and received a good room.

A room that was spotless and comfortable, nothing to complain about. The sound insulation was good, and the breakfast was very high quality for the price of 6€ per person.
