I liked everything except the location.

The breakfast was excellent, especially the natural yogurt; the gardens were lovely and the décor charming; the bathroom was huge, bright, and spacious. However, the soundproofing was poor—when the upstairs guests showered or used the bathroom, the noise from the lower floor was unbearable, chairs dragged across the floor, and there was a stain in the bathroom.

The room was large and well equipped, the breakfast and parking were excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, the balcony was big, the Smart TV and fast Wi‑Fi were great, dinner was available on most nights, and the mountain views were fantastic. The bed was very high and the bedside cabinets were very low, making them impractical, and the shower area needed a better non‑slip surface.

“un poco decepcionante”

The main building looked beautiful, like an old villa, and gave a good first impression; the private parking was very convenient. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that. Unfortunately, the hotel sits right next to a busy road, so the windows couldn’t be opened because of the noise. There was no air conditioning, only a fan, and I didn’t come to Asturias to sleep with the windows shut. Overall, everything felt quite outdated. As a boutique hotel, I expected more charm and a more personal touch, but the reception staff were not unfriendly, yet their service was very impersonal and didn’t bring the special character one expects from a boutique. The location didn’t convince me either; besides being next to the road, there was nothing nearby and it wasn’t in Llanes, so you basically need a car for everything. I expected a much cozier, more charming place and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
