The cabin sits 2.5 km from the entrance of Omar Torrijos Herrera, a gorgeous hiking park full of unique birds. The cabin itself is in bad shape, full of cracks that let mosquitoes in, and there’s no mosquito net. There are two beds; the mattress on one is foam and far too thin to sleep on. The kitchen was filthy, with the previous guests’ dirty dishes still there, everything sticky, etc. The highlight of the mess was the toilet—completely unclean, with the trash can still full of used toilet paper from many guests before us. There were no towels, and when we asked for them we got a scowling look and the answer that none were available.

The waterfalls are spectacular—just a few steps down the stairs and you’re in the water. The views from the cabins are great, the place is very picturesque with good weather, the locals are friendly, and it’s safe. The cabin is on the street and asphalt, with good parking. The man who hands out the keys is always there at the first cabin. The cabin was a bit dirty, especially the bathrooms. When I arrived I paid the man who gave me the key, and he told me he couldn’t charge me for Booking; he said I should wait for the manager, but he didn’t know about it. I tried to pay in cash three times and couldn’t; it wasn’t until the morning of the 29th that the payment was processed via Yappy. The staff who attended me spoke to me correctly and respectfully.

The location is fantastic. The kitchen and bathroom cleanliness could use improvement.
