The place was wonderful, in a modern, new building, kept very clean. The amenities, AC, fan, shower were all great. The room itself was quite spacious. It's very close to the beach bikeway/walking path and the many parks around it, and also close to the river, but a bit far from the train/bus station and the night market, so it depends on what you're looking for - it was a great location for us. The host was very sweet and helped us with all of our questions, despite having to use translation app - he would even keep checking things after we talked and come share what he had found to help us further. He also took us to the bus station in his car when we missed a bus to Taroko at the nearby station (you have to wave or they'll skip the stop)
