Breakfast was fine, but there were no safety handrails in the shower and the tub lacked any non‑slip or other safety measures.

The front desk person handled breakfast, ran out of waffle mix, and had to make more while busy with check‑out, so we left without any waffles.

It was clean and close to the lake, but I had to wait 2 hours before getting a room because all house‑cleaning staff were called off by the manager.

The breakfast bar was good and very clean; the place is new, built in the past few years. The location is close to everything, the lake is right down the road. We had dinner at Woodys – great food; if you’re staying in Russell’s Point you have to eat at Woodys.
