“Excellent séjour. Tout était parfait.”
It was perfect for a night before heading to Paris, and there were no complaints.
Everything was clean and the place was in a good spot.

The coffee machine and fridge were nice, but the stay had several disappointments. I had asked in April via Booking whether I could shift my departure time slightly, and never received a reply. Early in the week I sent a direct message to the hosts asking if they had received my request, but again no response, so the lack of communication was quite regrettable. We arrived at 13:30, even though check‑in was scheduled for 14:00; the host saw us in the lobby and opened the door, which we appreciated. However, the departure was very unpleasant. At 11:02, just two minutes after the scheduled departure time, a woman came and knocked loudly and insistently on our door, saying simply “c’est l’heure du départ” with no greeting, no politeness, and a tone and attitude that felt truly aggressive. We felt like we were being kicked out rather than politely reminded of the departure time, and we didn’t want to prolong the conversation or pretend any friendliness. Finally, the linens were also disappointing: they smelled bad and some were torn, which is unacceptable for the price of the accommodation. In short, while the room itself was fine and the welcome at arrival was adequate, the total lack of response to our messages, the aggressive and rude departure, and the poor quality of the linens all severely diminished our experience.
