This place has got to be one of the best locations in Entebbe, right by the lake and with all the local amenities on your doorstep.
The breakfast spread was impressive, but I was craving something more traditional like a hearty Ugandan katogo made with matooke and maybe some beef or groundnuts.
The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was great, but unfortunately, the rooms had a bit of an unpleasant smell to them.
The value for money is excellent.

“A Mixed Bag”
The breakfast at this hotel was actually quite good, but the earliest start time of 9 am was a bit of a letdown. The staff, however, were all friendly and helpful, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, things got off to a rocky start when I had to argue with the owner about what constitutes a family room. He insisted on his own definition, which didn't quite match mine, and it took some convincing to get a different room.
“A Hidden Gem”
This hotel is a great find, with an excellent location, spotless rooms, and a wonderful breakfast spread. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the value for money is excellent. My only gripe is that the internet wasn't always working as well as it should have been.
“A Comfortable Stay”
The hotel room was spacious, the hotel was quiet, the staff were friendly, and the food at the on-site cafe was delicious - for Uganda, it was actually quite good.
“Friendly Staff, But...”
The staff were friendly, but unfortunately, the hotel had a big problem with cigarette smoke. It was really annoying and made it hard to relax.
“A Decent But Unremarkable Stay”
I'm not sure what to say about this hotel, as everything was just.fine. The location was the only real issue, but that's about it. I guess it's a decent choice if you're not too fussy.
