Cubbon House sits on Douglas’s sea front, offering en suite B&B rooms with free WiFi and tea/coffee facilities. Front‑row rooms boast panoramic promenade views. Guests enjoy continental or cooked breakfasts featuring fruit, cereals, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee, and toast. The hotel is a 2‑minute walk to shops, pubs, restaurants, 5 minutes to the ferry terminal, and 20 minutes to the airport.

The breakfasts were superb, and the view from the Douglas Bay window was amazing—watching Gannets crash dive, seals on the rocks, and spotting Lake District peaks on the last clear evening. I was very lucky with the weather, making it a great trip. All good.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating; the location of the property was excellent, within walking distance to the ferry and bus stops in both directions. Breakfast was good. The room was serviced daily and was very clean. TV, fridge and shower were more than adequate, making the room welcoming enough to stay in for the evening. There was nothing I didn’t like about the place.

I’ve stayed here before and the rooms remain comfortable and well presented. Breakfast is freshly cooked for each guest, with hot, tasty ingredients. The property is easily accessible to the town centre and overlooks the promenade. Staff are amazing, making the stay extremely pleasurable. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Island. I honestly can’t think of anything negative about the property or its staff; it’s a small, well‑presented place kept to a high standard.
