Hotel Sirákov

“Vynikajúci hotel, doporučujem.”

We liked the location and the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was excellent, parking was convenient, and the TV channels were superb.

Parking was great, but I didn’t try the restaurant because I arrived late in the evening and couldn’t evaluate it. The staff were friendly and waited for me, which made me satisfied. I don’t have any other complaints; I arrived late and they waited after I wrote the approximate arrival time.

“Sirákov vs. Syrákov”

The food was excellent, the place is nice with options for excursions, and the staff were pleasant. The only downside was that the local sauna lacked a proper cooling shower.

The rooms were like a relic from the communist era, with a rug so old it made me fear fungal skin infections; the staff played hogo fogo, and the food was overpriced with tiny portions. The mattress was a horror, the bed creaked, and even nature couldn’t fix it. We’re not demanding, but this place was a real letdown; the hotel pretends to be something it isn’t and has no basis for it.

The price and location were good, but there was a lack of coordination among the staff. They didn’t inform each other that I had already checked in, and in the morning they called asking me to pay even though I had already paid before checking in. 😭
