The hotel/pousada is sensational. The new building, the room and bathroom are spacious, the bed is comfortable, the bedding and bath linens are high quality, and there’s a beautiful view of the Barolo vineyards from the balcony. Jessica (the owner) is super attentive, gives regional tips, arranges restaurant reservations, a real concierge at the hotel. Breakfast is excellent, always with fresh products, often made on site (omelettes, pies, jams), varying daily and tailored to each guest’s needs and tastes. The service is highly personalized. It’s located right in the middle of the Monforte d’Alba vineyards, 5 minutes from the main Barolo names. You can walk to two important wineries in the region (Fenocchio and Aldo Conterno). The only downside is a flight of stairs to reach the room, but there are also accessible rooms without stairs.
