The inn was completely renovated two years ago. Rooms have panoramic views and balconies, and the location is excellent for exploring the region—Belmonte, Guarda, Sortelha, Manteigas. There’s a river beach 100 m away. The annex runs an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner. We were very well attended by Mr. Paulo and Daniel.

The accommodation is amazing and the staff are genuinely very friendly. Breakfast is really good and the restaurant food is also incredible. We liked everything!

We stayed at the Soadro do Zêzere for two nights with family, renting two rooms, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Every part of the hotel deserves five stars: the rooms are extremely comfortable and clean, the facilities are very well organized, and the entire staff displays exemplary attention and friendliness. We also dined at the hotel restaurant one night and the meal lived up to the entire stay: excellent! Valhelhas is a great starting point for exploring Manteigas and Serra da Estrela. We highly recommend it and plan to return.

Excellent bed; spacious bathroom; quiet room. Staff extremely friendly and the restaurant of great quality.
