“Fantastic rooms, spotless, great value”
The bedrooms were great, especially mine—clean, very comfortable, with a fan, kettle, tea, and coffee. The beds were perfect; I slept like the dead 😆. The stairs were a bit of a climb after a long day, but otherwise I’ll definitely stay again.
The staff were friendly, even the cleaner I met when we arrived waited about 5 minutes, but after I sent a message the manager responded immediately and was amazing. The room was quite clean, though as a professional cleaner I spotted a few issues: the shower was dirty and mouldy, there was no handle to open the bathroom window, and there was no breakfast, which was disappointing because I had stayed before and the breakfast was beautiful. My son and I would definitely stay here again.

Finding your way around was easy. The staff were really lovely, welcoming and polite. The rooms smelled lovely and were clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The location was great and the room was a great value for the money. I would recommend it absolutely and would be back in the future when staying up north again—no complaints whatsoever!

No breakfast or bar, and the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. Mold was growing in the shower, and there was no electricity in the first room. Everything was terrible.
“Not fit for purpose”
The place is absolutely disgusting no staff clean rooms or bring toilet paper, dead bugs everywhere a glass in my room that was previously used as an ashtray there was also broken glass in the bed!! TVs didn’t work pain and paper peeling from walls. This isn’t safe no smoke alarms in rooms fittings hanging from walls and staff try blame all mistakes on you, my parents are disabled and after making a complaint they locked the downstairs disabled toilet so my parents had to climb 4 flights of stairs to use the loo!! Avoid this place at all cost… I have lots more photos! ignored all pleas to change hotels still waiting on a reply a week after stay
