The place felt surprisingly quiet and tucked away, yet it was still within easy reach of everything we needed. I loved the country‑cottage atmosphere and the modern, spotless amenities. The only hiccup was the fireplace – the instructions were vague, so I wasn’t sure I was using it right, though it eventually worked.

Getting out of Sydney’s chaos was exactly what we needed; the wildlife‑filled surroundings were incredibly calming and the kangaroos roaming around added a fun touch. The setting totally refreshed us. We didn’t use the air‑conditioning at all, but I can see it being essential on a blistering day.

The spot’s location and the view were fantastic, and being so close to the animals made the stay feel truly natural. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped and the door kept popping open, never staying shut. Those issues dulled an otherwise great experience.
