Hotel Quellenhof in Bad Wiessee is a 3-star superior hotel, 400 meters from Tegernsee lake. It features a pool, spa area, free breakfasts, and free Wi-Fi via hotspot. Individually furnished rooms offer elegant modern or traditional country-house styles. A breakfast buffet is prepared daily in the breakfast room, included in the room price. The hotel also offers an indoor pool, sauna, and infrared sauna.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the spa (sauna + pool) was a real lifesaver on a rainy day. I didn’t find anything I didn’t like, though the hotel is relatively small and adding a restaurant might be risky, but it would be nice for guests. Luckily there are good restaurants nearby, so that doesn’t detract from my overall excellent rating.

The owners run the place with heart and always have a joke ready, so I looked forward to breakfast every morning. The room and bed were redecorated differently each day, which we really liked. The old-fashioned heavy curtains with stains, some hems torn, and the bathroom weren’t very nice. They say they’ll renovate more in late autumn, so I’m going to wait and see.

Very cozy and the staff are genuinely nice and authentic. Thanks for the warm welcome on the first day :) – The breakfast was great and I was greeted warmly by Sven and Luciano :)
