I really liked the view of the garden and pool from our balcony. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Dinner was served at the hotel restaurant and was excellent. There were sing-alongs; the songs were well chosen but lacked power, the sound wasn’t loud enough, and I would have liked more musical instruments to bring the songs to life. A more enthusiastic band would have helped. Overall, everything was perfect. The renovations at the Bl. Laurier were still in progress, and we had trouble getting to the hotel. I was looking for an ad with the hotel name Jaro in large letters, which wasn’t there. It should be more visible.
