We left a day early because the cabin wasn’t sound‑proof or insulated. The road between two villages is only about 200 m away, making it impossible to sleep. The cabin isn’t airtight, so it gets very cold at night; the only way to stay warm is to lie under the duvet. Breakfast was okay.

The view is beautiful with lots of vegetation, and breakfast is brought to the cabin. The scenery is lovely. The toilet at the back was dirty and gave a bad impression when you sit. We asked for it cleaned and it improved significantly. The towel hook in the bathroom was loose. There is no dresser or fridge in the room, and the bathroom has only a tiny sink and a plastic‑looking mirror. The worst part was the noise from the nearby road, plus all the animal sounds, and the cold inside the room despite the blankets provided. There’s a lot to improve. Also, note that there is no hair dryer and they don’t provide one. The Munduk area is quite cold, especially at night.

The little chalet offered charming mountain views and was cozy, though it could get quite chilly at night. Breakfast à la carte was excellent – I actually had the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted in Bali, truly amazing. The on‑site continental and Asian restaurant served all day, and we even enjoyed meals on our room’s terrace, which was ideal. A hot tub was right outside our chalet. Unfortunately, the bathroom left a lot to be desired; the floor was dirty and I found three large slugs after returning from an excursion – one in the sink, another near the mirror, and a third on the wall.
