“A GEM...with superb staff!”

Everything! We were welcomed warmly, friendly and very efficient. The room was ENORMOUS with a lovely LARGE balcony overlooking the sea, uninterrupted. ALL the staff we met were BRILLIANT, from reception to housekeeping. The room had a coffee machine, a kettle, a fridge and glasses. The air‑conditioning was beyond WONDERFUL—easy to use and instantly effective. Parking in the underground carpark was a huge plus for just 8 euros a day; there’s very little street parking and our car stayed safe and cool the whole time. We definitely recommend this hotel. We didn’t dislike anything, but we’d note that on arrival we were a bit worried the hotel was on a fairly main road amid general housing, yet our fears vanished once we entered reception, which felt cool, serene and welcoming—looks can be deceiving!

The staff were wonderfully courteous and accommodating, the sea view was stunning, and the beach was close; Salerno is a long seaside city, so visiting the historic center requires a nice walk.

The terrace was unbelievably wonderful, the staff were extremely kind, and we could leave our luggage at the hotel in the morning when we checked out because our flight left that evening; the breakfast selection was simply fantastic. The bathroom’s sink and cabinet underneath weren’t very modern, but since the whole hotel was great, that was a minor flaw.

The view of the sea was beautiful, and the cleanliness was good. The bathroom really needs updating.
