“schwarzes Meer im Winter”
In January I took the ferry from Tulcea to Sulina; in winter only locals stay and all hotels are full, so I only had this address. The owner and his wife welcomed me and set up a room just for me. The décor is simple but tidy, and there is no Wi‑Fi. They cooked for me at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owner even took me aboard his boat to the Gulf and showed me his work. What hospitality! Sulina is definitely worth a winter visit, with its lovely scenery and friendly locals.
