We arrived in the dark and loved sitting outside on the deck listening to the nightlife in the trees just after sunset. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and kind, and we actually felt very spoiled! And, as we were leaving the next morning, I'm so glad they encouraged us to walk up to the 9 arch bridge; we arrived just in time to see the train go over the bridge! The road up there is fine in daylight but it was a little tricky in the dark, very narrow.

This hotel is very difficult to get to. My driver would not go down the steep winding road 14 minutes from the town of Ella. Booking stated the property was .7 miles from the center of town, but in fact it was a 14 minute drive from Ella.

We loved this place so much – the family were so accommodating and the views from the rooms on the top were spectacular. It’s close enough to walk to the nine arches bridge and you can even see the train from the rooms – our family loved our stay here. Careful of leaving shoes outside – a dog took my hiking boot and, while I got it back, they were destroyed! Also the road is pretty dodgy where it is located, so ask at the hotel to arrange a tuk‑tuk to avoid getting ripped off.

“Prachtige locatie”

A beautiful, quiet spot with stunning views, a spacious and clean room, bathroom, and balcony. Breakfast was tasty. It’s outside Ella’s hustle, within walking distance of the famous bridge and Little Adams Peak.

“Magique séjour. Il faut vraiment séjourner là bas !!!”

The view is gorgeous over the 9 arch! You can walk from the hotel. The room is sublime! The staff is adorable. The hotel is in nature, far from the city’s bustle.
