I'm not sure what to say about my stay at this hotel - it was just "meh." Unfortunately, there was nothing particularly impressive or memorable about my experience.

My stay at Z Addis Hotel was a mixed bag. While the location was fine and the bed was comfortable, I had to struggle with the lack of basic instructions on the shower system, and the staff seemed uninterested in helping me with my luggage on the last day. However, I must commend the housekeeper for doing an excellent job and the tall lady staff at the restaurant for showing respect and hospitality despite the language barrier.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was marred by the unfriendly staff, particularly at the reception and restaurant. Despite the language barrier, their body language and facial expressions clearly showed that they were not comfortable with foreign visitors. The "Continental breakfast" was also a letdown, with a limited menu that didn't change for the entire duration of my stay. I had to miss my hot tea on several mornings because the staff couldn't operate the coffee/tea maker.

This is the third time we've stayed at this hotel, and it's still one of our favorites in Addis Ababa. The staff and manager, Mr. Mekebib, are incredibly hospitable, and the area is nice with excellent views. We've even extended our stay, and my daughter loves the food here. It's our go-to choice in the city.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a disappointing experience. The staff seemed to be uncooperative and unhelpful, which made it difficult for me to get the assistance I needed.
