“on the 2nd floor the rooms are old and very cold, we were placed there with an 8 month old baby. alt”
We booked the hotel yesterday and told them we were traveling with an 8‑month‑old baby, asking for a suitable bed. The room we saw online looked clean, new, and reasonably renovated, but we were assigned a top‑floor room that was freezing cold—so cold that even wearing warm clothes didn’t help. Taking a shower or washing the baby was impossible. The room was cold and run‑down. My husband asked to change rooms; we showed photos of what the room was supposed to look like and even offered to pay extra. They said there were no vacancies. It was already 11 PM. I was ready to go to bed fully clothed with the baby, but my husband kept going back to the staff and the manager, insisting on a warmer room. After an hour of arguing, they finally gave us a vacant, clean, and warm room on the second floor. We are deeply disappointed. We had to argue and waste time when the baby was already tired and ready for bed. We are absolutely outraged and dissatisfied. We have photos of the room they originally assigned us—it was a terrible, cold, and dilapidated room.
