The complex in Caparica is nicely situated, tastefully decorated, cozy, highly functional, and the pool is a bonus. The least appealing part was the cleanliness: ants in the room and kitchen, a broken window pane, and the cleaners didn’t show for the five nights we stayed. The shared kitchen lacked trash bags, so garbage from others piled up. We told cleaners who came to tidy the shared bathrooms that the kitchen still had trash and smelled awful when we returned.

When I first moved in, the house was spotless and the tenants were polite, friendly, and quick to respond. The kitchen had a good selection of appliances and utensils, and the shared common areas were comfortable and welcoming. The cleaning crew only handled the bathrooms, leaving trash for a whole week. Two days after arrival, a toilet door broke and nobody repaired it. The place would benefit from more frequent upkeep to stay in better shape.

“Parfait”

The location isn’t far from the sea, in a quiet neighborhood, about 25‑35 minutes by Uber from Lisbon. The house is large, tidy, and fully equipped for living. The owners are very kind and occasionally check in the garden to make sure everything’s fine. Housekeeping is regular, and the check‑in process was smooth.
