The natural surroundings were lovely for a 24-hour stay, but that's about where it ended. The room was pretty basic - no coffee, no toiletries like shampoo or cosmetics. The meal was a letdown, too - we had no choice in what we were served, and the food was this weird, pretentious stuff. I mean, where's the local flavor? I was expecting some classic Cantal dishes, like Saint-Nectaire from Puy-de-Dôme, but nope. Even the orange juice was from a carton.

This place was a total oasis - we loved being surrounded by nature. The hosts were super attentive and everything was just right, from the welcome to the meal to the products they provided. The bed was comfy, too. Big thanks to our hosts for taking care of us and being so mindful of their beautiful setting.
