The staff were kind and the view was gorgeous, but the room felt damp.

The accommodation is a 7‑minute walk from the city centre via the train tracks, easy to get to. The room was tidy with a stunning view of Ella Rock and the waterfall. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was very generous. We had a great stay. The only downside was that we couldn’t pay by card; you’ll need to withdraw cash before you leave.

The view was exceptional and the breakfast good. The room wasn’t very clean, payment accepted only in cash, a missing sheet was replaced by a non‑hygienic fleece blanket, and there were no photos showing the whole property to avoid surprises.
