An old traditional house made comfortable for guests. Beautiful garden, very good breakfast. The owner was very friendly, showed us everything. Very high humidity, but that’s everywhere on the island.

Breakfast was very tasty, varied, with fresh, quality products and excellent bread. And when you’re on the upper terrace you get a little view of the ocean. The owner, Carlos, leaves each morning to greet you and gives directions to the sights. It is a historic and pretty house but the surroundings have almost no infrastructure. It’s a very small village, cornfields and a tiny cove next door. There are no shops or restaurants nearby; you’ll need a car for anything. The bathrooms need a bit more cleanliness. There’s a coffee maker, fridge, water heater. A microwave would not be bad.

Warm welcome in an authentic, comfortable home; our host, Carlos, came to greet us every morning, showed us the large garden, and his wife left a lovely departure gift. Very good breakfast, varied and with quality products. The location is ideal for visiting the island because it’s central (but a car is needed to reach the restaurant). Nothing to report.

I stayed in a charming historic mansion just a few meters from the Atlantic, and it was impeccably maintained with a personal, caring touch. Our huge room offered a stunning view of the garden, complete with a friendly dog, beautiful birds, and a small pond full of frogs. The bed was comfy, the room spotless, and the large bathroom had a window with a nice view. They supplied fresh water and fruit every day, and the breakfast on the little terrace overlooking the ocean was a real highlight. The owner greeted us each morning and gave useful local tips. The location was perfect for exploring the island. Nothing to complain about.
