The location is great, but it is rather expensive.

The room was beautiful, close to the gate, and we had dinner outdoors under the open sky; however, the dinner service could have been more attentive, as the plates were left uncleaned.

The resort is gorgeous with a large terrace by the restaurant’s outdoor kitchen for the extensive breakfast and dinner buffet, a pool with lounge chairs, a cozy bar with an upper terrace, all offering stunning views of the meadow and nature, and the staff was super friendly; the only issue was that the windows and seats in the lodge urgently need cleaning, otherwise everything was top.

The view was nice for a little aperitif on your own patio, the staff was amazing and friendly, and they also supplied us with the necessary information on dietary requirements; a pleasant surprise was seeing paw marks from nightly visitors around the room :) The location to Sossuvlei was perfect, and if you wait for the first tourist storm to blow over, you don’t have to queue; I can’t remember anything I didn’t like except that it is on the pricey side, but you get the experience for it.

Very nice place. Good food lots of choice. Depending on which room you get you either have an amazing view or barely any view
