The Hintok River Camp sits on historic land and leaves nothing to be desired, provided you’re not biased against comfortable tents. A huge bathroom with a toilet and a fully lockable tent that opens onto a large terrace make the stay memorable. For those who worry about daytime and nighttime heat, the air‑conditioning works excellently, cooling the tent to pleasant temperatures. The whole site is simply amazing, especially after sunset when paths and trees are bathed in light until 06:00 am. The view from the bar is special, and the natural pool and floating sunbed on the river invite lingering. Breakfast gives you energy for the day, and dinner is pure pleasure. Even though we didn’t use the camp’s excursion offers, I’m convinced they’re delivered with the same quality as the camp itself. The friendliness the staff spread and bring to the day is something you don’t need to highlight in Thailand because it’s simply expected, yet I felt every employee in the camp exuded a little extra warmth and performed their work with great love. You just have to feel comfortable.
