The room was cleaned daily, and the breakfast included in the price was very good each morning. The owner was always available if we needed anything, and coffee and milk were provided at all times. The place had an interesting vibe, with a thoughtfully designed interior and a comfortable bed.

Near the accommodation there are many varied restaurants that aren’t tourist‑focused. Palermo’s old town is easily reachable by public transport or on foot, and the airport shuttle stop is within a short walk. The host’s warm personality made the stay very pleasant, offering tips on restaurants, cafés, and public transport at any time. The furnishings were lovingly chosen, and the balcony had plants and cushions for the armchairs.

The strengths are definitely the welcome and cleanliness. The breakfast could use more variety, but it was still good.

I had to wait about 40 minutes for check‑in, then was told to go elsewhere for a self‑check‑in, only to find the property and room were completely different from what I booked—much smaller and without breakfast. Apparently the long wait was because they had booked another property where I received a basic room even though I paid for a suite. Unacceptable.
