“Fantastic hotel with a memorable view!”

The view of the Himalayas from the room and rooftop terrace is incredible, and the staff were lovely and gave us great hiking recommendations.

“Best place in Bhaktapur to stay right in the middle of the ancient city! 🫶”

The property is at the best possible location in all of Bhaktapur. Right next to the 5 story temple and a minute walk from Durbar square, yet on an extremely quiet and peaceful spot. The hotel is up to top notch standards in cleanliness, and the staff is so warm it feels like family. We are so so happy with our stay and will definitely come back here! We extended our stay from one night to a week just because of how much we loved it here! Pro tip! From the rooftop you can see the most beautiful view of the citys night lights, and you can catch great sunsets from it. On clear days you can even see the langtang range! :)

The location is excellent, very close to Durbar Square. The room is comfortable, very nice, with a view of the temple and hills behind, and it’s very clean. The shower was good. The staff were helpful. The only downside was the lack of an air conditioner; my room was on the third floor, so it was a bit tough with the suitcase.

“Golden Gate Hotel”

We spent four nights here after a grueling overland trip from Beijing to Kathmandu in a truck, and the place was the perfect reset. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, with a great spot just two minutes from both Durbar and Taumadhi Squares. Our room had a small balcony overlooking Durbar Square, and the staff were gracious and kind. We left Bhaktapur feeling refreshed and grateful.
