The hotel was in the middle of renovations, and the room we got was a real let‑down. Everything felt old and worn: the carpet had obvious stains, and the furniture and fixtures were in bad shape. The mini‑fridge made a lot of noise, which was hard to ignore when trying to sleep, and the microwave was missing a leg, so it wobbled instead of sitting steady. I get that renovations happen, but guests deserve to know about major work before booking, and rooms that are still occupied must be clean, comfortable, safe, and well maintained. Renting a place with stained carpet, heavily worn furnishings, and broken appliances is not acceptable. After a long day of traveling, we just wanted a tidy, cozy room to rest. If we’d known the true state of the hotel and the room, we would have chosen somewhere else. Construction was ongoing.

The front‑desk ladies were friendly and personable, and the rooms were clean and comfortable; I’ll definitely stay here again. Nothing to note.
