From arrival through meals and the bath, the staff were consistently courteous and smiling, they even upgraded our room, and the cute kerosene‑scented bath was a nice touch; the only drawback was the building’s age, which makes the construction a bit rough, though that can be seen as part of its charm.

The food here was way better than I expected, it was actually really delicious. Unfortunately, the room had a major flaw - there was no toilet in the room, which was a bit of a problem. To make matters worse, the sink didn't even have hot water, which was a real inconvenience.

The private bath was a major highlight for me, it was really nice to have some peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the stairs were a bit of a problem - my partner has mobility issues and the stairs were a bit of a challenge. It wasn't ideal, but the bath made up for it.
