Great for visiting Boppard; we had a room with a little garden, a good bed, and breakfast was delicious with fresh rolls and various fillings. The owners were friendly.

The host was friendly. The room was in a basement with very little natural light. The building sits in a steep ravine and the surrounding buildings have green walls, but this one doesn’t, though it definitely had a damp smell. The room was cold upon arrival even though a fan heater was provided. The window had a net, but when we woke up we both had multiple bites on our arms, likely from a mosquito rather than bed bugs. The bathroom was spacious but the old plumbing was visible and the tile was cracked, so a proper refurbishment might be needed. Breakfast was limited: there were egg cups on the table but no eggs, no cereals, only bread, ham, cheese, and a small quantity. Another couple was eating at the same time; we didn’t eat meat or cheese, and they had seconds, leaving very little. More options would have been welcome.
