The front desk folks were super sweet, even though there was a hiccup with my credit card. The lounge had board games, DVDs, and a jacuzzi that we really enjoyed. But the double bed was so tight that two people barely fit. They should have listed it as a 'double and a small double' instead of 'big double and double'.
The apartment was cozy and quiet. The problem was there was no elevator and the website didn't say that. We had to lug our bags up and down to the second basement floor, which was tough coming from abroad.
“Premium Whistler Accommodation”
The place is gorgeous and way bigger than we expected, freshly renovated and spotless. The bed was comfy, the shower powerful, and we had two bedrooms, two baths, a massive kitchen/living area, a hot tub we didn't use but loved, plus a patio with a BBQ. The staff were helpful no matter who you talked to. The only downside was the parking fee—$25 a night. It didn't ruin the stay, but worth mentioning.
“Just OK”
The staff were friendly and the unit was clean with a nice view. We only found out about the steps a few days before arrival, so we had to switch rooms and were told we could cancel through the reservation system and a resort employee. That messed up our plans, and we ended up spending most of our time in the resort because of the stairs. The unit also didn't have basics like spices, cooking oil, herbal tea, lotion, oven mitts, WiFi, or free parking.
