Motel Flinders

“Very relaxing for our return stay in Flinders.”

The bed was comfortable and the décor was nicely finished. The central location was great, and check‑in and check‑out went smoothly. Unfortunately, another couple in the unit above us could be heard clearly, especially when they were on their balcony. The 10 am checkout felt a bit early given the 3 pm check‑in, but the reception staff kindly let us leave at 11 am.

“Comfortable and enjoyable stay.”

The bed is comfortable and the room is warm. The TV is great. Nothing really, but maybe an option to have breakfast included.

“Great place to stay. Close to the village and an easy walk to the beach. Yummy ice cream shop nearby as a treat.”

The place was spotless, the staff were friendly, and it was right next to the village. The only downside was that there wasn’t enough tea, though I could have asked for more.

“A lovely facility and staff; need to take guest amenity more seriously by addressing noise issues.”

The rooms and motel are comfortable, modern and have been tastefully renovated. Excellent location in the small main street of Flinders. The walls are very thin and you can easily hear other guests talking or moving about their rooms. Unfortunately there was a group of 4 adults in the room next to us who were yelling awful language (you can hear every word from next door) for hours and repeatedly banging until 11:30pm. I made numerous phone calls to the staff during this time; the staff member was very understanding however they did not ask the guests to leave or take any serious measures to reduce the yelling. I eventually asked to be moved to another room, so we had to pack up our belongings and move at almost midnight; and the noise was more distant from that room
