The accommodation was outstanding—super comfortable, spotless, and in a great spot for exploring the area. It was so quiet that you only hear birds and the river. The hosts were charming and made you feel right at home. The place feels like a storybook, even more beautiful than the photos, and I’d return a thousand times. The only downside was that we had to leave.

The guesthouse surpassed our expectations! Among all the places we’ve visited, this one feels closest to our hearts. Maramuresul Stravechi is truly a slice of paradise, utterly magical, thanks to the Teglaș family and their hospitality. They delighted us with insights into Maramureș, sharing stories of those who fought to keep tradition alive. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything needed for a few‑day stay: mugs, plates, cutlery, napkins, grill, stove, etc. The area is near known tourist spots, about 10‑15 minutes by car from Breb village. We’ll definitely come back when we return to Maramureș. The cats are also adorable and incredibly playful. 😊😊😊😸😸😸 The only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. 🙁🙁

“Beautiful rustic accomodation in wonderful flower garden with fresh air - highly recommend it!”

The setting was absolutely breathtaking, or rather breath‑giving. It sits in a lovely flower garden with a small river flowing through. I loved the peace and quiet. The room had a rustic vibe that reminded me of my childhood and visits to my great‑grandmother. It was a very relaxing stay amid beautiful nature, clean fresh air, and the sound of the river. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for quiet time in nature. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, answering any questions about the area.
