Overall it was good; the décor feels a bit dated and the bathroom, shower, and vanity are a touch awkward, but everything worked out fine. The owner was a bit hawkish at breakfast, making sure I didn’t take anything I wasn’t supposed to, which felt off, yet otherwise it was a nice place for a one‑night stay.

The stay was quiet and the room was ample, but the bed was not very comfortable.

The room was very spacious and quiet, featuring a lovely patio with a table and chairs. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the property was close to several tourist sites and restaurants. Some guests might miss a pool or hot tub, but that didn’t bother us.

The location seemed remote but was actually close to I‑17. Breakfast options were limited but sufficient, especially with the items we brought in our ice chest. A bit of a bummer that our room fridge had no freezer for our ice packs, but the staff were friendly and put them in the hotel freezer for us. The room was very spacious. Real flowers in pots would be nice, but I understand artificial ones are easier and cheaper to maintain. It was fun to have DVD movies to choose from, though we needed some older PIXAR titles.

The place sits in a great spot, quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they offered snacks outside breakfast hours for a small fee. The only downside was that the freezer compartment in the fridge couldn't keep my ice cream cold, but they let me use the kitchen freezer instead, so it worked out.
